Tacoma Haunted Market
The Haunted Farmers Market isn’t your ordinary market—it’s a multi award-winning gathering of the strange and unusual, celebrated throughout Pierce County and across the Pacific Northwest. Nestled in the heart of Tacoma, Washington, this eerie marketplace blends the charm of a traditional farmers market with the thrill of the supernatural.
Step into a world where over 150 vendors conjure up their dark delights: crystals that shimmer with hidden energy, tarot readings that whisper of fate, flash tattoos that brand the brave, curious taxidermy, ghostly artwork, horror collectibles, chilling posters, macabre fashion, spellbinding candles, and apothecary wonders.
More than just a market—it’s an experience. A place where the veil between the everyday and the otherworldly grows thin.
Issaquah Sustainability Fair
Join us on Saturday, April 25 for the City of Issaquah’s Sustainability Fair! This free event is held each year in tandem with our Earth Month celebration. You’re invited to join us for a day packed with fun, education, and inspiration!
Now in its fourth year, the Sustainability Fair is a family-friendly event that offers resources for anyone looking to create community connections, reduce their environmental footprint, or try out some new techniques or equipment!
Rainier wellness fair and 5k
We will be starting and stopping at Rainier Foot and Ankle's beautiful location! The course runs along Railroad Avenue to the trailhead, then to the Dog park, and back! This is a fairly flat, easy course. It will require a police closure of Griffin Ave, so you may lose a few seconds of time waiting for traffic control.

New Ownership Celebration
Bees in the ‘Burbs began in 2012 when Norm Holcomb saw a need for local beekeeping education. Since then, it has been a family-run labor of love. Now, the time has come to officially pass the torch. As of August, Natalie and her husband, Chase, have taken ownership of the business, and we couldn’t be happier to keep Bees in the ‘Burbs in the family.

Beekeeping 101 & 201
Beekeeping 101 – Honeybees and Beekeeping 9:00am - 11:30am
Unveil the fascinating world of Apis mellifera, the common honeybee, and unlock the secrets of their intricate, buzzing society. This introductory course, Beekeeping 101, is your first step into becoming a confident and connected beekeeper. We’ll be exploring the basic biology of the individual honeybee. We'll then explore the essential equipment—including frames, hive boxes, protective clothing, the smoker, and hive tools— with a hands on component, where you'll be working in groups to dive into each part of the hive. The goal of this class is to give you the foundational knowledge to confidently interact with a hive. You'll learn how your efforts directly support bee health and contribute to the broader beekeeping community.
Beekeeping 201 – Hive Inspection & Logs 12:00pm - 2:30pm
You will be learning the fundamentals for performing a hive inspection. We will focus on minimizing both the damage to the honeybees and the hive equipment as well as the signs to look for in a healthy colony. Images will be used to demonstrate typical and healthy hives. We will finish with the importance of hive logs and tracking your data over time.
You can choose to attend the morning or afternoon class, but if you would like to attend both, you can save $10!
