Natalie Crawford - Owner and Founder

I was born and raised in Maple Valley and graduated from Tahoma High School (Go Bears!). When my Dad brought home these stinging creatures, I thought he was crazy. But I quickly warmed up to them, especially after I had my first real taste of honey. I was never a fan of the honey from the grocery store, I thought it taste bitter but sweet at the same time and I never understood the hype. But then I tried out honey, and my eyes were opened. Then I had my first taste of Meadowfoam and all bets were off. I was now introduced to a new world of honey. While I enjoyed working with the bee, I found a passion in variety of honey the bees could make purely based on the source of the flower. From this I have become a self-proclaimed honey connoisseur, and I am passionate about introducing people to that same “wow” that I had when I tasted my first spoonful of real honey.

I moved away from home for a few years, exploring new journeys while working in radio and experiencing the media industry. I spent time in other professions too before I realized how much my passion lied with the family business.

In my personal life, I spend most of my time with my baby, Jackson, husband Chase and fur-baby Sadie. I enjoying hanging out with my friend doing outdoor activities like fishing, hiking and camping. I do enjoy the occasional country music concert, or any live music event.
